The short version

This site sets no cookies and runs no tracking pixels, session recording or ads. Page views are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn’t follow you to other sites. The fonts are hosted here, not loaded from Google. If you poke the face enough times, your browser remembers that until you close the tab. If you press Pause motion, your browser remembers that until you clear this site’s data. The home page also remembers, until you close the tab, that it already played its opening flash. None of this leaves your browser.

The contact form

When you send the form, your name, email, company, project details and message go through Cloudflare’s email relay to my inbox, which is hosted by Google, so I can reply. They aren’t stored on this website or sold. Your IP address is used for one minute to stop repeat sends, and isn’t kept with your message. The email sits in my inbox until I delete it. Ask me to delete it any time at hello@shockvfx.com.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and block attacks, and keeps its own logs for a few days. The site itself only logs contact form errors and blocked spam, with no IP address or message content. I don’t use any of this to identify you.

Links to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and Payhip take you to their sites, where their own privacy policies apply.
