How a launch video goes
-
Day 1
Brief
A 20-minute call. What you’re launching, who it’s for, the date.
-
Week 1
Script and storyboard
Every line mapped to what’s on screen. Nothing gets animated before you approve it.
-
Week 2
Styleframes
A handful of still frames that lock the look.
-
Weeks 3 to 5
Animation and edit
Built, cut and sound-designed. You see the whole cut at once.
-
Weeks 4 to 6
Delivery
Master, vertical cut, hooks and captions, ready to post.
A launch video is a good fit if
- You have a product people can see: an app, a site, an API with a dashboard.
- Your launch is at least 4 weeks out.
- You have brand files and one person who can say yes.
Questions
How long does a launch video take?
Plan on 4 to 6 weeks from the brief. If your date is sooner, say so in the form and I’ll tell you straight whether it’s possible.
What do you need from me?
Access to the product (or screen recordings), your brand files and one person who can approve things.
Do you write the script?
Yes, it’s part of the price. I can write it from scratch or work from yours and give notes. Either way the script is locked before animation starts.
Who does the voiceover?
I do it, with a natural AI voice we pick together. It’s included in the price. If you want a real person, send your own recording or I’ll book a voice actor and pass their fee on at cost. Some videos work with music and on-screen text only.
How do revisions work?
Most feedback happens at the storyboard and styleframe stages, where changes are cheap. The final cut includes 2 rounds. Extra rounds are billed by the day.
Do you work with agencies?
Yes. Book me by the day or the week. I work inside your project and hand back clean After Effects files.
Who owns the video?
You do. Use the final videos on any of your channels, paid or organic. After Effects source files are available as an add-on.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. Pre-launch work stays private until you launch, NDA or not.
What moves the price?
Length, how many product flows we show, whether you want a voice actor, and how many cutdowns and formats you need. You get a fixed quote after the brief call.
How do I pay?
Half up front to book the slot, half on delivery, against a written agreement and a proper invoice. Invoices in USD or your own currency.
